Winston Glades Early Education Centre (Generation Glades) and Bolton Clark Milford Grange Ipswich Residential Care foster close bonds and relationships, meeting each Friday at 9am- 11am the program fosters emotional, social, physical and cognitive skills in a safe and stimulating environment . Our sessions are flexible and play based as we believe there is no limit as to what we can do together. The children and residents can share different perspectives and unique experiences during stimulating types of play which allows everyone to exercise their brain in different types of thinking and their bodies in playful engagement.
During our visits with Bolton Clarke, both the residents and children engage in a range of different activities that promote a relationship between the two generations. As the time has progressed you can see the bonds that have built between the children and the residents, the children talk about the visits all week long, they spend time writing letters, planning activities and creating pictures to share with our residents on the next visit.
These visits with our Bolton Clarke friends have helped to build our health and well-being, the residents faces light up as they see the classes walk through the door, bringing happiness to the whole room.
